Well, it's kinda hard to explain without feeling really stupid but I will give it a try. If you have been reading this site you will recognize this page from about 5 years ago. Then last year I packed it up and put up a WordPress Site. I did that because I was lazy and didn't want to teach myself MySQL, a horrible programmers language. WordPress seemed like a great idea and I loved it a lot; until it began to be really slow. So I hit the books to find out what made it slow. I suspected that me tampering with its working probably had something to do with it and sure enough they did. Long story short, the more I tried to fix what I'd screwed up the more it broke. End of short story. I decided to just go to a backup that I had on my computer. Sooooo.... I deleted the entire mess from my host account and then reloaded what I had stored on my computer. It didn't work. Who knew you were also suppose to save the MySQL that went with you site? Lesson Learned.

Since then I've had surgery that has a long recovery period. I didn't work on the site or come close to working on anything during that time. After we moved to Vierville-sur-mer, Normandy, France. I was sure I would have the site up in no time but, well, I broke my back the day after we moved in. That's another long recovery period where sitting is painful. Then I went to help my daughter in the states for about 6 months. Now we are anticipating a move nearer to Paris again. That will be taking place in January 2014. By the time this site goes live again everyone will have forgotten it.  But I like my site so it will be back someday between now and Feb 2014.
