Skin and debone two fresh connies (rock dwelling rabbits from Ithilien).

Insert the meat in a hot pot and sear in the juices.  Once the meat has been seared, add to the pot 1 cup of water, 2 cups of wild tubers, a pair of wild carrots, wild leaks and a dash of fresh parsley, sage, rosemary, an thyme.  A bit of Gondorian whiskey will go a long way of spicing it up as well.  If using the whiskey do so when searing the meat.  The coney broth may be thickened with crushed lembas.

Serves 3 but generally eaten by 2
